Virgin Australia CEO chooses Samsung Galaxy Tab for in-flight streaming

Virgin Australia has put its money on the Android-powered Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet for its in-flight entertainment system, which will start running this April. The tablets will be preloaded with content like movies, TV, current affairs shows, books, and magazines. The company will also install the Lufthansa BoardConnect on its planes for wireless streaming system. This service will be included in the price of a business class ticket, while other passengers will get a rental option for flights that take over three hours.

wow a better product than apple? geez apple has some competition! 


Oh that is so cool. I would want to fly and be able to use tablets for free entertainment. :D
