Samsung has made a hit with its Galaxy S III device, having sold 10 million of the handsets without having it out on the shelves for two months. Released back on May 29 in London, JK Shin (head of mobile communications) did claim that sales would have hit the 10 million mark by the end of July and indeed, that has certainly happened. (more)
The next big tech industry trade show on our docket is IFA, which takes place in Berlin during the first week of September. While typically not the host to many big mobile announcements as the likes of CES and Mobile World Congress, the presence of such devices at the convention has been growing. (more)
Samsung has released a new commercial for the Galaxy S III, inviting everyone to get ready for the London 2012 Olympic Games, which will begin on July 27th. Directed by cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki, the ad also features international soccer star David Beckham. (more)
